FRIENDLY GIRL!
- Squid is a very friendly girl who loves to be picked up and cuddled.
- She has grown quite fond of her foster carers young daughter and will quite often be pushed around in the pram or sleeping on the toddlers chest at night.
- Squid is litter trained and loves snuggles.
- Squid was born in foster care on Australia Day and has been brought up around adults, small children, kittens and adult cats and a medium sized dog.
NOTE: Squid has received her 1st vaccination. She is due for her 2nd vaccination on 29/4/23 and to be sterilised and microchipped at the age of 6 months on 26/7/23. These procedures are to be done at an approved vet clinic in Busselton, Vasse or Bunbury and are covered in the adoption fee.
If you would like to meet Squid, please complete the application form at https://aus01b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=zm1493&method=online_form_html&formid=9
Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, 2 vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
5 GREAT REASONS TO ADOPT FROM SAFE BUSSELTON:
- Lifetime guarantee: if you can no longer care for me, SAFE Busselton will take me back;
- Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, desex and microchip and microchip ownership transfer;
- Foster care instead of cage confinement, so I get love and socialisation;
- Speak directly with my foster carer;
- Quick response to your enquiry.
