Dear Future Forever Family,

My name is Tilly Tailwags (sister to Smo & Okey!) and I am affectionate, playful and love attention. I can be a little shy at first but once I am comfortable, I warm up quickly and then my tail wags nonstop. I love cuddles, squeaky toys and playing chasey with my foster sister. I am very popular when meeting new people and everyone loves to say hello and tell me how beautiful I am.

I am teething right now so like to chew things including my foster sisters tail and foster daddy’s toes but I am easily redirected to chew my toys and other approved items instead. I love my toys and don’t destroy them but like to run around squeaking them. Puzzle toys involving food (like zogoflex toppls lickimats, mandala bowls) make me super happy and help exercise my brain. I enjoy them stuffed with meat and veggies. Carrots are my favourite snack next only to chicken necks! I am also an expert at sniffaris and like hunting for hidden treats in cardboard boxes and egg cartons.

Did I tell you that I am very clever and understand a few words like my name, sit, drop, boop and look. I would love a dedicated home that will commit to ongoing socialisation and training (not just puppy school) to help me be the best version of myself. I am very responsive to positive reinforcement and training with treats and am always eager to please.

During the day, I follow my humans around the house, play with my toys and try and engage my foster sister in play and when I am tired I fall asleep close to my humans at work. I sleep in the same room as my humans at night in my crate and when its time to wake up go straight in for cuddles. Since I am only a puppy, I am learning about toilet training and need to be taken out frequently especially after meals and sometimes halfway through the night and given the cue word “toilet” till I do my business but still have occasional accidents inside if my humans miss my cues.

My dream home is where my humans work from home, as I am still getting used to spending time by myself. If I had another doggy friend to shadow, I think that would really help me settle right in. I MUST be allowed inside the house and be treated as part of the family and would not be suited to an outdoor only environment as I need to be close to my humans all the time. My foster family says I am a very special puppy and deserve my own loving family to spoil me rotten.

Final comment: If you are looking for a sweet little cuddle bunny (have you noticed my ears!) to brighten every day and be your best friend for life then that’s meeee! I promise to give you lots of love and kisses. All I need is toys, treatos, a dash of patience and some positive training and I will be your faithful shadow for life.
