About Poppy
Poppy is a special needs cat and needs a caring and understanding home. She has toileting troubles and currently refuses to use kitty litter. She has been trained by her foster carer to do solids in the bathroom, but is still urinating on soft fabrics if left on the ground (clothes piles, winter blankets, laundry piles). She also urinates in corners or behind furniture when stressed.
Poppy has a beautiful temperament, loves pats and will sit on your lap for a nap if allowed. She sleeps on the bed, quite often up near the pillow if allowed to. She adjusts to new people fairly quickly and is curious to meet them. She will bring her hunts to you and enjoys playing with a laser.
She gets on well with other cats and children, but has not been tested with dogs. Poppy is estimated to be approximately 1 year old.
Adoption details
At Brighter Future Cat Rescue we adopt to indoor homes only or homes with suitable cat runs. All our cats and kittens have meet and greets. A 2 week trial period is given to ensure that they are ideal for your situation and lifestyle. All our cats come desexed, microchipped, first vaccination and their worming and flea treatment are up to date. We rescue our cats off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of the perils of modern day society.
If you are interested in meeting one of our kittens, please fill in a pre-adoption form and one of our team members will be in contact with you.
