Lacey - 3 Year Old Kelpie (On Trial)

Introducing the Loveable Lacey!!

A beautiful 3.5 year old female red Kelpie. Lacey is an active girl but also incredibly sweet and affectionate. She is ready to go on all your adventures or to simply curl up by your side for a cuddle.

Lacey enjoys the beach, park, playing fetch or a game of tug of war with our dog. Her favourite game is to run alongside and around our dog whilst he is chasing the ball.

Lacey is dog and kid friendly, she has not yet been tested with any other animals.

Lacey can be a little timid/unsure when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. She has shown no reactivity to other dogs and always has a friendly approach.

Lacey is an active dog and her new owners will be able to provide her daily exercise needs, such as a game of fetch, trip to the beach/park or a walk/run.

Whilst Lacey is always up and about if something is happening, she is also very happy to settle herself. She will usually go lay in the sun or curl up in her bed whilst we go about our daily business.

Lacey is toilet trained and understands basic commands such as sit, stay, down and to wait for her food. Since coming into care we have been working on Lacey’s recall and also walking on a lead training, this would need to be continued in her new home.

Lacey would suit a variety of homes as she is a very sweet and easy dog to look after. Though we do think her ideal family would have an active lifestyle, be able to provide the exercise she needs, continue her training and home more often than not. She would go well having another dog companion to keep her company but would also be fine as an only dog. She is genuinely an easy going dog with a beautiful nature. She deserves to have a family that will love her and give her the attention she deserves :-)
