About Goldie
8 year old Goldie is a very sweet natured girl. She is nervous and shy at first, but very loving and playful once she gets to know you. Her perfect person will need to be patient with her at first, and give her time to get used to them.
Despite having those gorgeous ears, they actually don’t work - Goldie is deaf, so she will need someone who understands that she needs to feel secure, and can’t be let off leash in public places as she will have no recall.
Goldie Is a fast learner, and knows how to use the doggy door. She loves going for a walk and walks well on her lead. She’s playful and loves her food.
She enjoys the company of other calm dogs and can be happily left at home with a dog companion while you run errands, however she does like you to be around a fair bit so for this reason we thinks she’ll be best suited to someone who works from home or is retired, or can take her with them most places.
She likes friendly cats and older kids. Small children can be a bit overwhelming for her.
