About Louis
Hi my names Louis, and I have ended up in care due no fault of my own.
My previous owners just didn’t want me as I think I heard the word ‘naughty’!
Anyway, I’ve been at TOTF HQ for the last few weeks, getting all vetwork sorted and being observed interacting with other furkids. All shapes and sizes, breeds and ages. I passed that one, Phew!
Little background on me…
My dad was a 9.7kg poodle and mum was a 23.7kg Golden Retriever.
I’m 18kg, so in between mum and dad.
I have my DNA testing paperwork.
I’m just over 7 months.
Born on the 30th August 2022.
So a little bit on my personality traits.
I’m not a full on puppy all the time, but I do like playing with a friend.
I’m great with kids.
Haven’t been tested with cats.
I do love love love water.
Where I’m residing at the moment, they have ponds and water features everywhere. It’s so much fun to jump in them and play.
They weren’t impressed with that, so they bought me a kiddie pool!! So much fun!!
But I’m not allowed to jump in it and run through the house! EEK!!
I need lots of toys, mainly chew ones, well I am a puppy, and I have accidentally chewed a couple of things I shouldn’t have, but it was the hoomans fault.
I love food and treats, and will sit and wait for my meal.
I’m crate trained (only for bedtime).
I’m toilet trained.
I’m still learning a doggie door. But that’s something my forever people will help me continue, I hope.
I’d love a active home, with kids, another furkid who is still young for my playfulness.
I’m not a barker.only time I do have a bark is when I get excited when I’m out and see another doggie, but I get over it pretty quick.
When I find my forever home that’s right for me, I come with all the kit and kaboodle.
I’m hanging out on the Gold Coast at the moment.
My adoption Fee is $1950

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
