About Flex
*In foster care in St Peters, Sydney*
Flex is STUNNING! If her heterochromia (one blue, one green eye) doesn't catch your attention, her infectious joy for life will. This girl is something special!
Still just a young lass, Flex still has some growing to do but we believe she'll remain a fairly small husky (18-20kg mark). She is full of beans (particularly in the mornings) and needs consistent daily exercise, if her cup is full (a walk, a play with her friends and some lovin' from her humans) Flex is actually pretty chill at home.
She is comfortable being left at home alone but would struggle with full time workers as she still is a pup and can get up to some puppy antics if left without mental stimulation for long periods of time. She is not suited to apartment living and would do better where she had access inside and out. If you have arctic breed experience you will find her to be a fairly cooperative, easy going, quiet girl... if you have never lived with an arctic breed, you might find her to be a lot of dog.
Her foster mama has been working hard on her house manners and she has come along way but Flex will need ongoing training and a family invested in continuing teaching her how to be a good canine citizen, alongside giving her an outlet for her brilliant brain with an extra curricular activity like noseworks, mushing or agility would be highly preferred.
Like all Maggie's pets, Flex is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I would love a home where I have access inside and out as I please, another dog for company would be ideal as I do LOVE to play and party with my fur friends. I am still VERY much a puppy so I do get into mischief if I don't have enough stimulation in my day and need a good daily walk and some extra puzzles and toys to keep my brain busy.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am high energy (of course, husky) but if you give me a big walk I will generally chill for the rest of the day.
I get excited when I see you and then I calm down after you give me a big hug and a pat.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I am friendly with all humans big and small but likely would be a little much for tiny humans.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I am VERY dog social, I would love to live with another dog and do best when I get to have a good play sesh with my pals.
I'm a little over excited by my cat friends.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
