Rusty

Meet Rusty, a teenage pooch who is full of joy and friendliness. He loves being around people and other dogs, regardless of their size or temperament. Rusty's favorite thing to do is greet you with tail wags and doggy kisses, and seeing you first thing in the morning is the highlight of his day.

Rusty loves outdoor adventures and visiting local cafes and dog parks. During the day, he enjoys going for walks, chewing toys - he's still learning which ones are his - and spending time inside the house. A bucket of ice is all it takes to make him happy - he thinks it's the best toy to play with. His ideal day ends with snoozing next to the fireplace while watching TV, after receiving plenty of love and attention from his owners throughout the day.

Rusty would thrive in a home with another dog, a yard, and owners who are willing to interact with him every day and help him with his training. He's already learned basic commands such as 'sit, stay, come, and leave it,' and he's crate trained. While he's making progress, this teenager would love to continue to work on walking calmly on a lead. Due to his tendency to chase cats, birds, and possums, he needs a home without small animals. Unfortunately, Rusty's owners need to find him a new home because he doesn't get along with their cats.
