About Edna
Meet Edna!
Edna is a female chihuahua cross, and she is three years old. She may be timid at first, but once she is comfortable with her new environment, she will begin to trust that she is safe and become more confident. Edna can be shy around other dogs, but will bark at them when she feels threatened or scared. With some patience and love, Edna will soon become more trusting of people and comfortable in new situations. Edna would do best in a quiet home with older children.
Despite her timid nature, Edna has been able to tolerate a collar and lead but has yet to take her first walk due to feeling scared - but with enough love and understanding, Edna will feel confident enough to explore the world around her! She wants nothing more than to have someone who loves her unconditionally who can help her build her confidence. If you are willing to give Edna the time and patience she needs, you'll find that she's an incredibly loyal companion who just needs a chance!
Edna has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked.
If you think you have the time, patience and love to give this sweet little lady, please submit an adoption application

Medical notes
Edna's health check revealed she has very mild tartar.
She also has a medially luxating patella in the right hind leg. This is causing her no issues, but an eye will need to be kept on it at her regular health checks.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
