About Ebony
Ebony is an energetic 9 month old female Pug x Kelpie mix who loves people and is very outgoing. She had been rehomed at a young age and unfortunatly wasnt given the training she desperately needed, Despite her age, she needs some intensive basic training to help her learn how to walk on a lead properly, sit, stay etc as she likes to jump on you. She seems to have lots of potential though, and is likely very motivated by pats and positive reinforcement.
Ebony also appears to be ok with other dogs, but may need some additional socializing as she tends to chase cats if they run. She will definitely need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, as she has lots of energy to burn off! With the right home and training, Ebony will make a great companion for someone looking for an active pup with plenty of love to give.
Ebony has been desexed, vaccinated to age, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption fee is $600.00.

Medical notes
Ebony has unilateral enophthalmos of the right eye with the cause unknown which has been present since birth. She likely has decreased vision in this eye. No treatment needed at this stage. Vet suggests to monitor and recheck in 6-12 months. She has passed her vet check

Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
