About Mincey - 7 Year Old Mini Foxy X (on trial 10/7/23)
Meet Lord Mincington Barkley III (also know as Mincey), a 7-year-old Mini Foxy X who weighs 5 kgs. Mincey is the sweetest, cuddliest little guy ever. Just wanting to be by your side and under your doona. Mincey is also very social and sometimes zoomy when the mood is right.
Mincey loves cuddles, snuggles, pats, naps, snoozes but is also in his element at the park, or on a walk. Mincey will follow you to the moon and back and is happy as long as he is with you. He loves his food and snacks but has lovely manners while you are eating. Mincey has been happily living with Foxy X Kelpie and an active 4-year-old child.
Mincey can sit and wait, but needs more work with staying. Mincey is quite good at recall, can get distracted by some dogs, but generally comes when called. Mincey is very social and will say hello to most social dogs. Needs some work on owner-guarding while sitting on laps and in bed (will gremlin growl at other dogs, but stops when back down on the ground).
Mincey would be suited in most homes, but would probably flourish in another friendly-dog household with warm laps and spare room under the doona. Mincey is untested with cats and pocket pets, but because of his breed caution is advised. Great with kids and happy at home during part-time work hours, with a dog companion.
For more information on Mincey, please contact his foster carer on their email kattychoochoo@hotmail.com. Mincey is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. Mincey’s adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, has had dental work, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
