Hi, I’m Flash!
I came into the facility after wandering the streets and sadly wasn’t collected by my owners. But that’s okay because I know there’s a second chance out there for me!
I’m quite an easy-going guy, I love the simple things in life like going for walks, sniffing bushes and receiving cuddles from my carers. Sometimes when I get really excited by new people or new environments I don’t know what to do with myself and resort to humping. I know this sounds off-putting but once I’m settled in I should stop this behaviour! It can be controlled by keeping me on the lead around new people, and when I’m inside. If the behaviour continues then I may need one or two sessions with a dog trainer so that we can learn new tips and tricks together of how to overcome this.
For the above reason, any children in the household should be at least 12 years old to ensure I don’t actually scratch them or knock them over. Kids around this age should be big and confident enough to handle me. I’m met other dogs in the facility and I didn’t like the big excitable ones. Maybe an older, more chill friend would be okay!
Apparently I’m already toilet trained and so I’d be a great inside and outside dog. I don’t mind a small yard as long as I get to leave the house for walks! I know some basic tricks and walk nicely on the lead.

Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
