About Darcy
Hello there! I'm Darcy, a Kelpie boy with a beautiful red & tan coat (if I do say so myself!).
I'm an inquisitive and friendly pup who has an insatiable desire to explore and learn about the world around me. This can be seen in my profile picture where I have yoghurt all over my head after Foster Dad gave me the container to lick!! I did not leave a scrap in the container but can someone please tell me how I will lick it off my head??
I absolutely adore human affection and being showered with pats. When it comes to other dogs, I'm a great companion and get along well with my foster siblings. While I may be a bit reserved with initially, I'm known to win people over with my charming personality and quickly transform into a playful and energetic puppy.
I've already mastered some essential skills such as responding when called, walking calmly on a leash, and sleeping outdoors during the night. Whether it's beside my human family or from the comfort of my cozy doggie palace, I'm content to sit and observe the world passing by. Nonetheless, I'm still in the process of learning and require a patient family who can invest time in helping me boost my confidence within a calm environment.
I'm seeking a loving family who will embrace me as a cherished member of their household. Given my cleverness and high activity level, it's important that my family understands my need for both mental and physical stimulation. I would love a doggie pal in my new home.
If you're searching for an enthusiastic and inquisitive 'yoghurt loving' young fella, please submit an application today! I can't wait for the opportunity to become your loyal best friend.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
