About Addy
Through no fault of her own, our sweet Addy has been returned to the facility for rehoming. Addy is strong on lead, so she will need a family who are willing to train her to walk calmly on lead, or who will purchase a halter to help ease her pulling.
Her surrender profile says Addy is house trained & travels well in the car.
Addy is a Staffy x born 30th September 2020.
Miss Addy was brought in to us as an unmicrochipped stray & unfortunately no one came looking for her so she is now on the search for a brand new family. She is a very sweet & playful girl, however she can flinch (not in pain) if you touch her on certain areas ie her bum area & feet. Because of this we are recommending a home with no children.
Addy tested well with dogs at the facility and was very playful with them after a slow & calm introduction. If you have another dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with her to ensure they get along before going home.
Addy appeared to be unfazed by cats, however she does have some prey drive with chickens & rabbits, so she will need a home with no pocket pets.
Addy shows no signs of separation anxiety at the facility however her surrender profile mentions she does slightly stress when left alone for extended periods of time.. She wasn't destructive or barking/howling, just missing her owners. She shows no signs of food aggression towards human.
She is very treat & toy focused & loves any form of stuffed toy.
Addy is such a loving girl who wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Addy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Addy's adoption fee is $450, and this includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Addy is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Addy is currently located at East Maitland.
**Addy does not like having her feet touched**
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
