Hi there. I'm Nala! I am a sweet, shy, sensitive and affectionate little girl.

I have not had much opportunity to experience the big wide world. Although the team at the shelter have slowly been introducing me to new things, I can still find new environments and unfamiliar things a bit scary at first.

Would you mind if we took things slowly at the beginning? I would love to be allowed indoors to be part of the family and it would be ideal if you can provide me with a safe space to retreat to when I feel overwhelmed.

Food is a good motivator! I like eating from enrichment toys and these also help to keep my brain busy and stop me from over eating.

Ideally I would prefer to live with calm humans because I am still quite worried by loud noises and sudden movements.

Once we have formed a nice strong bond, I will lean into you for cuddles and pats.

I am not too keen on dog parks or off leash areas. I find these a bit too overwhelming.
