About Champ
*In foster care in Merrylands, Sydney*
Champ is a little dynamo with so much love to give! While super-lively and smoochy, he definitely has his chill moments too - as long as he's given regular exercise with daily walks around the neighbourhood or playtime in the yard.
Are you looking for a second shadow? Champ's your man - he adores trotting along at your heels as you go about your day :) He's fine with being left alone and can entertain himself for short periods, but this gorgeous guy is a 'people pupper' first and foremost!
Champ also enjoys being in the car (he usually has a nice snooze during longer trips), and he's beautifully toilet trained - giving you a sweet nudge with his nose when he needs to be let outside.
Like all Maggie's pets, Champ is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have at least one of my humans at home for most of each day. I miss you so much when you're gone!
I'd really prefer to be an only dog, but I might be OK with a friendly, super laid-back pooch who'll balance out my high energy.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: As above - sky-high! I'll need daily walks and/or a good daily sesh of tug o' war or fetch in the garden. Please note, I love running at full pelt and have a tendency to slam into doors because I don't know how to stop! Once I work off my excess enthusiasm, I'm more than happy to relax with you on the couch or in my bed.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: It's possible I'd accidentally knock over smaller children, so families with kids of at least school age might be better for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My compatibility with cats hasn't been tested yet - but I'd ideally suit a home where I'm not just the top dog, but the only one!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
