Skye Blue is an American Staffy weighing in at 27 kg and what an absolute stunner she is!
A typical Staffy who owns the house and the couch lol
She's definitely a foodie of all types and will do anything for a treat lol, such a staffy !!!!
Skye Blue is fully toilet trained. She enjoys both being inside the family home and laying out in the sunshine.
Skye Blue is sweet and extremely well behaved but does not like cats and will give chase if she spots a cat. She enjoys chilling on the couch and snuggles and loves to play with her toys and chase toys. Skye Blue is a talker and enjoys a good chat and has lots of love to give.
Skye Blue enjoys both being indoors and outside. She prefers to sleep outside under shelter in her dog bed. She loves her toys and the attention of humans, especially the kids in her foster home.
Skye Blue is strong on the lead when walking and will require good lead work as she is very strong and tends to pull to walk. She is very attentive and listens well when out for walks.She will require an experienced walker as she is strong and she will require additional training to walk by your side.

Favorite things
Skye Blue's favorite thing is definitely spending time with her foster family. Laying on the couch, laying out in the sunshine. A good belly rub and is a great talker and enjoys a conversation. She loves her toys and a good chase in the yard.

Interactions with humans.
Skye Blue when meeting people outside of the foster home or when a visitor is in the home will approach for a pat and will greet with a chat and enjoy it even more if you talk back and the cheeky girl absolutely enjoys chatting especially if she receives attention and even a treat. When Skye Blue was at the vet for her desexing when she was in the recovery she was happily chatting. Skye Blue is a joy to be around and gives lots of love. She definitely not a good watchdog lol as she loves all people both strangers and friends

Obedience and training.
Skye Blue knows her name and responds when called. She will sit for treats and often raises her paw for a shake. Her foster hooman sibling has helped Skye Blue learn to sit, drop and roll over. Skye Blue is a greater listener and aims to please.
Skye Blue does need addition lead training
Animal social skills.
We tested Skye with a submissive friendly dog and she was excited but polite. We walked together with no issues
Skye Blue does not like cats and will give chase when spotted.
Food
Skye Blue loves her food and treats.She loves Savour Life treats and dog biscuits. She likes the taste of cheese, mince, roast chicken and prime dog rolls and her dry food
Independence.
Skye Blue loves when her foster family are home but has also proven to be a great girl when family is out. She has a comfy bed undercover and fresh water and plenty of food and toys to keep her occupied and enjoys lazing about
Sleeping.
Skye Blue prefers to sleep outside undercover in her comfy bed. If she is inside will go to the door to let you know she wants to go outside to sleep. She loves her sleep and a good snooze.
Exercise.
Skye Blue does enjoy her walks but is very strong on the lead. Short walks seem to keep her satisfied and she enjoys running around in the backyard chasing her toys and will run to collect a toy if thrown and bring it back to be thrown again.
Ideal home.
We seek an experienced home for Skye Blue and we are mindful she is a staffy and will be seeking staffy experienced home
Children in the home are fine as she loves kids but we seek dog Savvy kids who are mature enough to play with her
Ideal home for Skye Blue would be one where she is included as part of the family. One where she is allowed inside the family home and outside in the yard. Skye Blue is happy to be left at home whilst her humans go out.
Skye Blue has lived in a foster home with her foster mum and 2 human siblings and
Daily walks and socialization.
A medium to large backyard with grass and protection from the elements, shade and shelter and obviously secure fences
As Skye prefers to sleep outside we definitely require a home with a very large undercover area that is protected from wind and rain but she must also be allowed inside to spend time in the home with the family
If another dog in the home we are seeking a desexed and very dog social male only
Most importantly a loving and responsible family.
