About Nina
Nina is the most beautiful, relaxed and sweet girl. Nina was found wandering in farmland, with 4 kittens on board! Now that she has finished raising her babies, she is looking for a home all of her own where she will be loved and cherished!
She's the most easy going girl who loves humans both familiar and unknown, and is a non stop purr machine. She's a big fan of a cheek scratch, and wakes up from her afternoon naps with an adorable raspy chirp, to leap straight over to your for some head bumps. Her beautiful grey tortoiseshell coat is so unusual, and she has the most adorable concerned face and piercing green eyes. She is chirpy and friendly, always meowing a hello and arching up for scratches and chin rubs. She loves pats and cuddles and is so gentle- her foster family say they have never seen her scratch or bite. Humans are her favourite and she's happy snoozing the day away in a sunny spot on the windowsill, or on her cat tree, collecting pats, or playing with a toy if she's in the mood.
Nina is a gorgeous little cat, would make a beautiful companion in an indoor only home. Her last kitten Ernie is also up for adoption and she would love to stay with him, or alternatively find a loving home of her very own where she will be spoiled.
Unless she goes with her little son Ernie, Nina would prefer a home without other pets, as she likes the quiet life!
***Please note, our adoption application form is set up for dogs, so just answer the questions that are applicable and we can discuss further over the phone :)

STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a more suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $350.00 and must be paid on on the day of the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support.
