About Peppie
Introducing the little sweetheart Peppie. Peppie is a Miniature Dachshund born 30th June 2013.
Peppie was surrendered to the facility because he had started digging in the backyard & she'd "had enough" of him. This sweet boy had been in that home since he was a puppy. We are happy to help him find his retirement home where he can be loved & spoilt for the rest of his days.
Peppie is a gentle & sweet boy who loves nothing more than his people.
Peppie can be selective with other dogs, but he has previously lived with others.
Peppie tested quite well with cats & pocket pets. We're recommending a slow & controlled introduction with any existing cats, chickens or rabbits to ensure a safe & happy relationship.
Peppie has shown no signs of food aggression towards humans or separation anxiety when left alone.
Peppie is such a loving young man who wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Peppie, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Peppie’s adoption fee is $300, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Peppie is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Peppie is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
