Malty is a six month old domestic short haired boy with black and white fur and the most wonderful tufty ear hair!

Malty came into foster care as one of four kittens who were around 5 weeks old. They were born in a backyard and managed to live a stealth life for that five weeks. Their mother was very skittish and they needed some extra time to become as awesome as they are today.

Malty is a dude. What is a dude you ask? A Dude is rock solid, well regulated, mentally stable cat. A Dude sits with you watching TV or working but isn't overly clingy. A dude will submit to infantile baby cuddles and being carried around the house but won't demand them. A dude watches you, appreciates your company but has healthy boundaries and is able to be self contained. A dude self actualised. He is growing into a fine Man Cat.

Malty's loves are dinner time, hugs and cuddles and being carried around like a baby. He is one of his foster carer's 7-year-old's favourite cats to carry around. He is bonded with his brother Salty (Bros For Life) and enjoys galloping around the house beating up his brother.

He dislikes hesitant people who don't know how to pat cats, but once he gets a good pat from you and knows you're safe, all bets are off - he will wait patiently but with determination for his chin scratches and cuddles.

Malty and his brother Salty are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together. The love they have for each other and their entertaining energy levels are so perfectly matched, and they will delight some loving people/person with so much joy and laughter. You will feel like the luckiest humans on earth once they settle into your home. They will happily use the same large litter tray as long as it is clean. They will not try and wake you up early to feed them, they are usually fed around 9-10am. (disclaimer: They do thunder around the house playing at night. You can't have everything).

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
