- Dusty is all-in when it comes to play and life! He has 24/7 energy and isn't afraid to show it—he'll bring you a toy and insist on a game. He has no idea of his size or strength, so be ready for him to enthusiastically wrestle and then immediately collapse into a very large lapdog.
- Training update: Dusty knows 'sit' and is working hard on other basic commands. His love for food makes training a blast! He sits for treats, takes them gently, and waits patiently for his 'free' command at mealtime.
- His favourite things: Walkies, tug-o-war, and car rides top his list for physical and mental exercise.

HOUSE MANNERS AND BOUNDARIES 🏡
- Dusty has a strong mind of his own and will absolutely push boundaries to see what he can get away with. His ideal family must be prepared to be firm, fair, and consistent in enforcing rules.
- He's an angel indoors, happy to snooze the day away while you're at work, and he has never had an accident. 👏
- He is happy staying outside during the day patrolling the yard and sunbathing. However, he may occasionally help with a bit of "landscaping" 😅 or find things he shouldn't chew.
- A good-sized yard with secure fencing would be perfect for Dusty and the understanding that he wants to be with his people as he pleases.

SOCIAL SKILLS AND THE IDEAL FAMILY ❤️
- Dusty is a work in progress when meeting new friends, but his improvement shows how smart and dedicated he is to learning.
- He is overly enthusiastic meeting anyone new, which can be a bit intimidating, but he is actively learning not to jump.
- Dusty feeds off other dogs' energy and is currently better suited to observing other dogs from a distance and being the only pet in his forever home. He is greatly improving his excited reactions through clicker training focused on impulse control.
- Dusty will be the perfect only dog for an active family looking for a new best friend.
