Natso

Hi all! My name is Natso and I am ready to find my forever home. I came into the shelter through no fault of my own and it took a while for me to adjust properly to the shelter life.

Initially when I came in, I didn't understand properly how I should interact with humans and what was ok and what wasn't. I am a very sweet boy, but I definitely do come with some quirks. I am quite a vocal cat and will meow quite a bit for attention and food. When left alone, I am usually quiet and happy to do my own things, but as soon as you're in my line of sight, nothing else matters. I do enjoy pats, but only on my terms. I will usually let you know if I have had enough and would like some space to do my own thing. Due to my breed, I am quite intelligent and would definitely benefit from lots of enrichment and puzzles that I could do.

I do like sitting in my comfy bed of the day, so if I could be provided with one of these in a home, that would make it even more perfect. I am very food motivated and love a piece of boiled chicken or a dine treat just to show you love me even more. I can sometimes get a bit frustrated with things such as when the animal attendants come in and clean my room. In these circumstances I sometimes will bat the animal attendants or the object they're cleaning with. It is best in these circumstances to just leave me for a little bit so I can deescalate. I am best suited to a home with an experienced owner and with no kids under 15. This is so I am in a home with a family that is familiar with cat body language and can see when I am a bit uncomfortable or when I want attention.
