Hello world! My name is Pikelet. I’ve been in foster care a little while now as I arrived here as a very shy and timid kitten. It’s taken me some time to warm up to the hoomans but I’ve now discovered that scritches and pats are just delightful! I insist on getting them at any opportunity I can, I’m sure you can give me lots of them. I sleep at night curled into my hooman’s legs and I’ll sit on their lap, purring away whilst they read.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
As I used to be quite timid, I would prefer older children who are quiet and can gain my trust slowly.

I’d like to live with a chill, level-headed cat who would be happy snoozing with me and letting me fuss over them (my own brother Muesli would be ideal).

I’ve grown up with two Greyhounds so I know to be cautious and give them space. I think I’d be just fine if you have a cat-savvy doggo.

Likes / Dislikes
I love to have a snooze in my favourite sun-drenched spot by the window or curl up with my brother, Muesli. I love to give him a groom. I also like to interrupt Zoom meetings by insisting that it’s time for pats, I just can’t wait that long! I’ve got quite a few fans amongst my foster carer’s office colleagues.

I dislike loud noises and visitors, I will hide under the bed or in the wardrobe when they come, but I will venture out after they leave. I hate being picked up, this still terrifies me so I prefer to have all four paws on the ground. It’s still a work in progress!

My PURR-fect home would be with another kitty friend, maybe my brother Muesli? I will need some time to settle in as I used to be very timid and shy, so a quiet home without too many visitors and noise would be ideal. I’d also love to share the bed with my hooman at night!
