About Vincent
"Vinnie is the definition of a good boy, everyone's best friend! He is the sweetest, loving, most easy going, funny, intelligent, loyal dog on the planet. He deserves an extraordinary life, something I can no longer provide unfortunately.
He's easy to train because he's so eager to please and food and toy motivated. He also doesn't mind the odd kiss and cuddle as reward either 🤗
Vinnie literally gets along with everything and everyone but gets way too excited around smaller, squeakier children and noisy birds. There was a tense few seconds a while ago when he almost licked a 6 year old into another dimension. He thought she screaming in excitement, poor thing was not 😳 he will also react to noisy birds while on or off the lead.
As his breed suggests, he has energy to spare. Vinnie is a giant goof ball 🤡 He needs lots of space, exercise and stimulation. At the moment, you can work and leave him alone but he has to be crated or kenneled as he tends to get a bit bored and will get into mischief. He loves playing tug or fetch but is equally happy chasing flies or just hanging out with his humans.
All his basic training is covered. Sit, wait, come, lay down, no, bed etc and I'd put his off lead recall at about 90% at the moment (it's a bird thing). He'll need someone to keep up with lead training too as he just gets so excited he will pull until he finds his groove and calms down...and again, there's the bird thing.
Vinnie loves all dogs of all shapes and sizes and tends to match their energy. He has been socialised with cats and other animals too. Cows, horses etc He's also happy inside or out.
His perfect home would be either a fun family with older kids and a big yard or an active and adventurous single or couple wanting to start or grow their fur baby family 🤗
He's never shown any aggression towards people or dogs, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. That doesn't mean he won't tell you how he feels from time to time though. You can sometimes catch Vinnie singing the song of his people usually around the same time he runs out of things to do or flies to catch.
Vinnie is desexed and microchipped, all details up to date. He's also up to date with all vaccinations, flea/tick treatment and all worming.

Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.

Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
