About Theo
Theo is a gentle and affectionate dog who loves being around other dogs. He can be timid at first when meeting new people, but with a gentle approach he quickly warms up. It took our photographer five minutes to become his new buddy.
Theo is also great with small children and has lived happily with a toddler.
He has had limited interaction with cats, but is very gentle and would likely adjust well if introduced correctly.
Theo walks well on a lead and, once bonded, can be trusted off-leash as he has excellent recall. He likes to visit parks and other outdoor places to play with his canine friends.
He is an experienced traveller and has enjoyed many camping trips with his previous family, who very reluctantly surrendered him to us due to a change in circumstances and through no fault of his own.
Despite being middle aged, Theo is still a puppy at heart. Rope toys and ball games are favourites.
He's an inside-outside dog and is house-trained.
The ideal home for Theo is one that offers him the company of another dog (as he currently lives with two others), plenty of space for self-exercise, and preferably someone who is home most of the time so he gets plenty of attention.
Theo would make a great companion for any Staffy lover looking for their next best friend.
If you are interested in meeting him, please complete the online application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Kindly include photos of your yard and fencing.
