Pickles

Meet Pickles, the most gentle, mature, lady you ever did meet. Pickles has lived with children, poultry, cats, dogs and other animals all while remaining polite and very well mannered. Pickles walks on lead with ease and waits ever so patiently in a sit while other dogs walk by.

Being a Koolie, Pickles naturally has some prey drive and can exhibit some herding tendencies at times. She would absolutely love a home by herself where she can soak up all the affection, attention and activity. Whilst she isn't phased by other animals, she has previously attempted to round them up before, which isn't always appreciated.

If there are kids in the family, Pickles is best suited to those of school age. Being a mature and polite lady, she doesn't enjoy interactions where kids may pull her fur or lay on her. As with any dog, supervised interaction between children and dogs is critical.

She has never shown much interest in toys though human companionship remains very important to her regardless of age or how many times she has met you. Her ideal day would be tummy rubs in the sun whilst being fed treats, of any sorts, as she isn't fussy in the slightest. Despite being so affectionate she doesn't mind alone time too, choosing to nap or sniff around while her owners are at work or away from home.
