About Blair
Meet Blair, the beautiful shar pei cross puppy that found herself with us all on her lonesome. Blair went straight into foster care with a wonderful carer, who has spent the last number of weeks getting her ready for adoption.
Blair has lived with cats and has even had a hen in the backyard, which she has been very intrigued by (only through fencing). She loves the cats and wants to play with them, even though sometimes they don't want to play with her, but being her typical puppy-self, she comes back for more. She would be suited to go to a home with cats as long as clear boundaries were established.
She knows her name and will recall majority of the time, her toilet training is coming along well but would need to be continued in her new home. She sleeps soundly in her own little bed in the main bedroom. She doesn't particularly like the crate just yet, but adores being with people.
Like a typical pup, Blair loves to chew so lots of toys and enrichment will be needed in her new home. She loves her food, even some veggies like cucumber and carrot. This great appetite is very helpful when training.
Her carer states she is super cuddly and loves napping on peoples laps, she does have her moments of calmness and she is sweet natured. She has shown interest in playing in water so she could be a perfect candidate for backyard swims or approved dog beaches.
Thankfully, her carer has accustomed Blair to typical noises such as thunder and fireworks, and she is not bothered by typically loud or scary noises like mulchers, blowers or vacuums, she does however think the mop is a big game and chases it.
This little girl has had some fantastic foundations set in foster care, and now she's ready to pack her bags and head off to find her forever family, will that be you?
