About Kayna - 14 Week American Staffy X Bulldog (Trial)
Meet –Kayna
She is a confident girl who loves to run around in the yard with her siblings and play with toys (she also like to hide them from the others so she can snuggle with them of a night). She is fairly low energy and has a calm nature but also loves rumbling and belly scratches.
She is mix of American Staffy/Staffy/French Bulldog which can all be quite naughty if not trained properly from a young age. Saying that – when trained properly can be the most loyal and caring family pets.
Kayna is the smallest of the litter and a little quieter than her siblings so a household with a calm older dog and children who understand that she needs her own space would be ideal for her. She will grow to be small or on the small side of medium
She is currently living in a family situation where she is allowed inside and this will need to continue in her new forever home. She lives with a number of other dogs of all sizes and ages and would ideally be suited to a household with a fur sibling to learn from. She may be ok with someone who is home more often than not provided she is socialised outside the household.
Puppies need ongoing training with their toileting, walking, jumping and overall manners so please only apply if you are willing to put in the time to help these guys become the best versions of themselves.
Kayna's adoption fee is $700.00 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Kayna is in foster care in Awaba, NSW. Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.
To apply to meet Kayna, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. If you have any questions, you can send an email to drn.beth@gmail.com.
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name NOT just the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
As she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5-6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
