Wonka

Mr Wonka came into the shelter with his 6 siblings, but found himself quickly out in a foster home with his sister Esio. Lucky for Wonka, his foster home instilled routines and structure, especially around toilet training and bedtimes.

Wonka is a big softy, he loves being around people and will follow you everywhere. He can struggle a little bit when people leave him but this will resolve with further training. He responds very well to positive praise and being a sensitive little man, praise will be a big reinforcer to be used when doing further training.

Wonka is quite gentle, he enjoys playing with his sister but loves a cuddle and receiving affection from people. Being a little pup, Wonka can be a little clumsy and sooky, but his carer says this makes him all the more adorable.

It will be really important for Wonka to get daily exercise and lots of play and enrichment as he grows into a teenager. Being a staffy he will have a lot of energy to burn and will benefit the most from being included as part of the family. As he is already sensitive and cuddly, he will really crave attention and affection from his people.
