About Baxter
Baxter is a beautiful natured big smoochy boy who loves everybody he meets. Baxter is a handsome 2 yr old Johnson Bull Dog X Staffy. Baxter has a gentle nature & has only love towards other dogs and humans alike.
If you have another big dog or even smaller Staffy type that loves to play, Baxter will spend hours just romping so another dog in the home would be ideal for company. Baxter is very food motivated and therefore easy to train. Baxter has great house manners & is toilet trained and knows to sit and wait for his dinner. He takes treats ever so gently from your hand.
Baxter is an inside/outside dog & while he loves being in the garden, he also loves his human company. He loves to sleep inside and be close to his humans. In his foster home he presently sleeps on his own bed in the bedroom and sleeps quietly all night long without a peep.
No pocket pets, chooks, cats, farm animals or small children, only because he could accidentally knock small children over.
Baxter walks well on lead with a halty & Loves the beach and forest so would love being included in family adventures. 💙🐾

Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of our animals we would love to hear from you.
Please submit an enquiry via Pet Rescue rather than emailing us.
In your enquiry please include:
* your location (where you live) and phone number,
* a brief description of the family home - number of adults and children in the home
* identify any other animals in the home
* how long the dog or cat would be left on its own each day
* your previous experience with dogs (or cats if your enquiry is about a cat)
* the type of fencing you have and whether your fencing is secure
* anything else you think may be relevant.
We try and answer all enquiries asap but are all volunteers, so we thank you for your patience.
If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
