About Micah
Hi I’m Micah,My siblings and I came into care under BVAR’s Last litter program. Meaning our mum gets desexed at no cost to her owners and ending the cycle of unnecessary litters.
I absolutely love people, but would recommend being in a home with older children (8+ years) as I can sometimes forget my manners and get too over excited for little people. I am very cuddly, very gentle with everyone I meet and I love meeting new people.
I am happy to rest with you, beside you and on you. I love my soft bed, blanket and a nice warm jacket. I spend my day playing nicely with 2 larger dogs, lazing in the sun and exploring. I love playing with my rope toy, chewing sticks and treat ball. I can still be a bit jumpy when excited but I am working on this, I just need some firm guidance.
I am untested with cats so unsure how I would react around them. I currently live with guinea pigs and chickens, I have shown interest but come back when called away from them. I still need supervision and training to leave them alone. I have lived with a Maltese x and it has been observed that I am better suited to a home with bigger dogs, as I’m too full on for small breeds. I would also do okay by myself, as long as I have adequate socialisation opportunities.
I know how to sit but I get distracted which makes it difficult for me to concentrate on my training. So I will need a patient but firm family who can help me focus and continue my training. I have little experience on the lead but so far but so far I have been very well behaved on the lead.
I haven’t spent much time indoors, so if you wanted me inside I may need some extra time to adjust. Due to the cooler weather I have been sleep inside, I go straight in the crate at night, no accidents, no ripping his bed or jacket. I go straight outside in the morning.
