About Spartacus
Meet the one eyed wonder, Spartacus!
Spartacus is a 5year old spunk! Super smoochy and full of life and love to give. She can be shy to begin with but she quickly warms up to you with a few head and butt scratches. Spartacus loves scratches so much that she will drool with happiness haha!
She loves to chase her toys around the room- ping pong balls, ribbons, anything she can bat around.
Spartacus is best suited to a quiet home with children older than 8years old as she does need her space and doesn't like people in her face all the time. She'll tell you when enough is enough!
Spartacus is cat social, but likes to be the boss. A quieter cat that isn't in her face will be best suited to this girl.
She really is such a good girl and we want to see her in a home as soon as possible.
If you're interested in meeting Spartacus and making her part of your family, contact BARC on 5441 2209 or email barcreception@Bendigo.vic.gov.au
Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
