About Lucy
Lucy is a 2 year old Blue stumpy tail cattle dog who was surrendered to a far south nsw country pound
Lucy has the friendliest , sweetest nature, she can be a little shy at first but warms up very quickly
She is living in foster care with five small dogs and is gentle , respectful and very happy to be around them
We dont know how she would be with a bigger more energetic dog as she can still get a little nervous. She is a very intelligent dog and wants to please but she can still be a little puppylike as she is still young
She seems a little nervous around livestock and does bark at the cats so would be best in a family situation rather than rural one
She is great in the car and on a lead and comes when called and is not interested on going under or over fences . She waits by the gate without barking or trying to rush through if you are on the other side.
Lucy is desexed and vaccinated and ready to go to her new home . We would like a home for her with another dog preferably around her size. We would also consider her in an only dog home provided she isnt left alone much , Someone who works from home or a young retired couple would be fine
Lucy is very happy and quiet inside and is housetrained
Lucy is in foster carer in Hinton and if you would like to apply to adopt her please send back the application in the adoption details section

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
