About Bethany - In foster care in Braybrook
Hi there! My name is Bethany, and I'm a quirky and fashionable cat who is looking for my forever home. I'm a one-of-a-kind kitty who prefers to be the only cat in the house. I'm not one for sharing attention, you see.
When it comes to personality, I'm a bit of a diva. I love to be the center of attention and I'll do just about anything to get it. But don't worry, I'm also very loving and affectionate. I have a super loud purr and I love nothing more than a good head massage. I'll nuzzle my head into your hand and purr away, it's my absolute favorite thing in the world.
As for my fashion sense, well, let's just say I'm a trendsetter. I love to accessorize and I always look my best. You'll often find me lounging on the windowsill, watching the world go by and showing off my latest collar or bow tie.
I'm hoping to find a home with someone who understands my quirks and loves me for who I am. I promise to be your loyal companion and to always keep you entertained with my antics. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind cat who will bring a lot of love and joy into your life, I'm the girl for you!

Medical notes
Diabetes in cats is a condition that occurs when the body cannot properly regulate blood sugar levels. This can happen when the pancreas doesn't produce enough insulin or when the body becomes resistant to insulin. We believe Bethany was bitten by a snake from which she has recovered however has caused diabetes.
Managing diabetes in cats involves a combination of diet, exercise, and insulin therapy. Our veterinarian has created a customised treatment plan for Bethany based on her individual needs. This includes regular insulin injections and food monitoring.
Diabetic cats are often overlooked for adoption, which means that they may be harder to adopt out. However, they can make wonderful pets with proper care and attention. In fact, caring for a diabetic cat can be a rewarding experience. By adopting a diabetic cat, you're providing them with a loving home and the care they need to manage their diabetes. Plus, they can be just as playful and affectionate as any other cat! With the right care, a diabetic cat can live a happy and healthy life.
