About Greta
Greta is an active and very healthy female semi coated registered Pedigree German Shepherd who has been a much loved family pet. Greta is just coming up to 18 months of age and has her whole life ahead of her.
Due to unforeseeable circumstances Greta needs to find herself another family to love her.
Greta has lived in a family home with young children and is fully house trained. She has been bred by one of Sydney’s most respected breeders.
Due to a cartilage issue both her ears do not stand up which we feel is very appealing.
Greta knows her basic commands and is good to walk on lead. She has been the one and only dog in the home and so she wants to remain the Princess.
Greta is located in the Sutherland Shire and is available now for adoption.
Greta is a very affectionate and loving dog who has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Greta is available for adoption by families or couples from the ACT and Victoria.
If you live in Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Greta. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Greta".
Medical notes
Greta comes desexed, vaccinated, on Heart Worm prevention and on tick, flea and worm prevention.
She comes with her full vet history, registered breeders papers and life time registered.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
