About Alfie
HELLO there
I am young, energetic and friendly and have my whole life ahead of me. Are you ready to keep up with me?
Don’t worry, I love a snuggle under the sheets like the rest of us and am a sucker for cuddles and nap snoozes – but in between, I like to practice for the zoomy Olympics.
I love playing fetch, love playing tug o war and I loveeeee toys. I will destroy them though, but I promise the toys like it.
I also love to go for a walk. Sometimes I bark at scary things but FM is helping me and says I’m getting better every day and am just the cleverest boy.
I have mostly lived on my own but spent some time with a small girl dog when I first arrived at CRQ. Who knew how much fun it could be to have little fur mates?
I find small girl dogs generally easier to get along with and a home with a small girl dog who loves to play would be nice, but I’m open to a meet and greet with a small boy dog if they are calm and not too macho!!!
I also don’t mind just hanging out with my humans as long as you have lots of love and time for me and some friends with dogs that I could play with regularly. I can cope fine on my own as long as I have something to occupy my time, but please don’t leave me alone all day.
Cats are not a good idea, I keep forgetting they are friends not foe and I yell at them and try to eat their poop…. Oops.
If you think I could be the little energizer bunny missing from your life, then put in an application so we can meet. If you have a doggy family member bring them too so we can see how we get along.
I can take about 10 mins to warm up to new people and dogs but after that I am ready to go!!
Hope to meet you soon,
Love Alfie xoxox
Medical notes
1 year old Alfie is desexed and microchipped. He is also up to date with vaccinations, flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
He’s otherwise in good health and he’s had a thorough check up with our vets
