Hi, I am Bronx! I'm a shy but confident boy who has been lucky to be in foster care for sometime now, with a bunch of great fosters and resident cats. This has helped me to learn what home life would be like.

My foster mum calls me Bronx the Bear, as I'm like a big black bear. I'm the first in when it's meal time, I like to meow when my foster mum is getting the food ready. I've just discovered that it's when I am meowing and waiting for my dinner is when I enjoy a nice big pat on my back. I'm still not use to being brushed yet. I enjoy following my foster mum around, but prefer not to be picked up. I do like my space and not to be rushed. While I am eating I don't mind getting my flea & worm treatment as I don't notice as the food is too good!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would love another friendly resident cat or cats, as I love having a house full of cats to hang, eat and play with. I really like having my cat friends, I hang with Lavender (she's looking for a home too), we like to groom each other and snuggle together.

I am still unsure about the resident dogs.

Likes / Dislikes
I loooovvveee FOOD, all food, feed me first! I've now found my voice, and my purr when it's dinner time! I enjoy a good pat while I am eating, not for too long though. I love to play with cat toys, especially if my foster mum is moving it around.

I'm not a fan of the vacuum, loud noises or fast movements. However at times I like to watch TV!

My PURR-fect homes would be with an older quiet household that understands I need space and time to adjust, and trust my humans. I would love a friendly cat buddy to help me learn the ropes.

Medical Notes: Bronx has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Bronx will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
