About Peanut
Hey all,
Peanut was surrendered in to us because the family no longer had the time to devote to his ongoing needs and training .Peanut has settled in the shelter ,unfortunately he also has a look of confusion on his face , wondering what he has done to be surrendered .Peanut has shown to be a social boy ,being able to meet other dogs, and also be in a pen next to another dog with no problems . Peanut is strong on the lead but does settle, some lead training would be very beneficial , to make social out and about time fun for everyone .Peanut is a big boy, but he is by no means grown up , he is still only young and in that respect he still requires some training and time spent with him to ensure life is fun and rewarding for everyone concerned.Peanut really needs to be part of the family with free access to the house and all family activities , so he feels he is a family member . Peanut has spent a large portion of his young life either tethered in the backyard or living in a shed , so he is no longer interested in life that way he prefers to be with his people .Peanut will require decent fencing if he is to be left on his own , but he will also need several forms of enrichment to keep his mind ticking over , kongs, scatter feeds , toys , hiding things in the yard , just things to keep him occupied until his family comes home .Peanut really is a friendly boy who will transition in to a family, with the family just needing to devote the time peanut needs to live a full and rewarding life.
