My name is Valentina; I’m a little girl with a big heart. We were all given names that meant ‘love.’ Our foster mum wanted us to know from now until forever we would be loved unconditionally and always kept safe.
I was born in a nice veterinarian hospital after my mum was dropped off there while in labour.
Pretty shakey start I know but thankfully a rescue group scooped us up the next day and it’s been smooth sailing ever since.
I’ve been in foster with a big family, lots of kids to keep us company and shower us with kisses. The oldest boy is a teenager and we share his granny flat with him. We love to play games with him, watch him watch tv, read books with him and boy do we love bouncing over his bed while he games. He’s at school in the daytime so we have grown pretty used to just chilling out while he’s gone.
Even though I’m the smallest kitten I was the first to be litter trained, the first to start eating big girl food. I’m really smart and am really interested in seeing what the humans are doing. My love language is spending time with you. Whether we are playing my game or yours, I really want to hang out with you. When you sleep I will need to be able to sleep with you, sometimes on your pillow, so I can stare into your eyes and kiss your nose. I will be your best friend and make you laugh and smile. I’ll fill your heart and together we will never be lonely. I have been showered with respectful playtime and gentle handling. I am the perfect companion for any family arrangement as long as I’m well cared for.
I can be picked up but I’m not the sleep in your arms kinda girl, I’m often too busy for that. I need a home that can respect that and accept that I may not be a cuddle in your arms cat, but I am absolutely affectionate, I just show it in different ways.
I love living with my mum Adora and sister Mila. While I haven’t met any other cats I’m sure I would make friends, especially if they will play games with me.
