About Spooky
Hey there! My name is Spooky. I’m an 8 year old border collie boy and I’m practically perfect in every way.
I’m a sweet boy who loves humans. Being 8, my energy needs are not high, but I am a working breed after all, so I still require a good walk and sniff, and I love to wee on every part of the neighbourhood. With my beautiful coat I will also require regular grooming to prevent matting. I also love chasing a ball, and love to be a part of the family, so while I’m a cruisy dog, I’m definitely not one to be left outside all day.
Since coming into foster care I’ve been introduced to a crate and I settle well in it overnight. I know sit, I don’t jump up and I walk okay on lead (I can be a little strong at times when I want to sniff or mark my territory.) I am house trained and love to cuddle up of an evening in front of the TV.
Although I am well behaved around children, I prefer a quiet and relaxed home environment, so a home without kids would be best suited to me.
The vet did note a mid range heart murmur on my health check, which does not cause me much grief at the moment. This should be monitored through 6 monthly vet check ups but does not require any medication at the moment.
If you’re after a smoochy, floofy companion that has is past the crazy energy of their youth but still has plenty of love and energy to give, then I am your man! Apply at the link below.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
