About Betty
Introducing sweet little Betty Boop :)
This beautiful mature lady is a Domestic Medium Hair who came to us after a kind gentleman had been looking after her as a stray for years and as he was relocating, he could no longer look after her.
Sweet little Betty Boop was shy at first but she absolutely loves attention, and her most favourite thing is a little bit of warm roast chicken (without the skin of course) and lots of brushes!
She absolutely loves being brushed, and having little pats in between. She is able to be picked up easily, and is used to many people coming in and out to attend to her.
Betty would best suit someone who is at home most of the time, works from home, or mostly works from home, as she really loves attention, and we think she deserves the purrfect home where she will get all the love she deserves in her golden years.
We think she still has sooo much life left to live, as she is overall a healthy lady, and has been so well looked after by the kind man and whilst being here with us!
We also think Betty may benefit from a companion cat to spend some time with.
If you are interested in adopting our precious little Betty Boop we would really love to hear from you! Adult cats are the purrfect option for any new or experienced cat owner, as they do not need to be litter trained and have grown out of their kitten like habits. Miss boop will slot into any loving home perfectly :)
Please note, little betty is now living her best life as an indoor only kitty, and we would like her to be adopted out to an indoor only home as she has already lived her life on the streets and deserves a warm and cosy bed that she can call her own.
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie and Catherine, our kitten adoption officers. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
