About Rory
MEET RORY!
Rory is a handsome young tabby boy! He has beautiful spots and white socks. He is approximately 18 months young and ready for his furever home.
Rory was a regretful surrender by his owner (who loved him very much) when she unfortunately couldn't care for him anymore.
Rory previously lived with a cat-friendly dog and would be OK to share with a friendly dog again. He would be ok sharing his home with another passive personality cat friend as he does currently have a cat friend in foster care! Rory will come with a 2 week in-home trial however to ensure its the purrfect fit!
Rory is a very sweet and VERY loving cat! He gives excellent head-butts! He happily greets his foster mum every day after work with a big smooch. He LOVES food and is food motivated. Rory LOVESSS to play and would love to spend time every day playing with his humans, climbing cat towers and chasing balls!
Rory might be shy and hide away for the first few days of going to his new home, but this is completely normal and he will settle in and feel back to himself in no time.
Rory would love to share the bed with his family and spend lots of time cuddling. He is happy to be picked up and will jump up onto your lap for a cuddle. He would be a wonderful companion for most homes!
We just know the first person to give Rory a chance, will fall in love with him. Check out Rory's video of him being his usual playful, funny self.
Rory is an INDOOR ONLY kitty and being fostered with access to an outdoor enclosure however its not necessary.

Rory is a healthy young adult, up to date with vaccines and parasite prevention.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
