About Remi
Remi is a 3-year-old female kelpie who melts hearts everywhere she goes! She has a beautiful, gentle nature, and has been delightful to have in foster care.
Remi walks well on lead, and her recall is improving every day. She loves to spend time off-lead where she can run and really stretch her legs. She is toilet trained and sleeps well in her crate at night, and very happy to relax on her bed during the day while her foster carers are working. Remi gets on well with other dogs and plays politely.
Remi is very affectionate and loves hanging out and cuddling with her human friends. She is great with people of all ages including children. Because she is human-focused, she would prefer a home where she has regular human company. Remi would suit a single-dog household or a home with another respectful doggy sibling who can match her play style.
Remi has mastered her basic obedience skills, and can walk on a loose lead, and knows how to sit, stay and come (mostly there!). She also travels very well in the car. She can be unsure on how to navigate new situations, but it only takes a couple of tries and a little encouragement before she gains confidence and masters things.
Remi would benefit from continued obedience training in her new home. She has not yet been tested with cats or small companion animals, but she has spent some time around chickens and sheep while in foster care these interactions have all been positive.
If you think this wonderful girl might be a good match for your family, please send us an application.
Remi is located in Vic.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
