A small girl like me can be a bit nervous when it comes to new places and people. After all, the world is super big and I'm super little! I'll need a calmer, quiet, low-foot traffic home with a patient and understanding owner. I want to be your friend, but I need to know who you are first!
Roll a few yummy treats my way and give me some soft gentle words and I'll make sure to start warming up to you. I'd really appreciate it if I could have a safe crate of my own to retreat to when I'm feeling overwhelmed. It'll help me collect myself and come out when I'm feeling braver. :)
While walks are nice, my worries about new environments can make walks a nervous experience for me. If we could avoid high traffic areas so I can feel safe and calm, I'd really appreciate it! If you have any a calm, social doggy friend of a similar size to me, I'd like to meet him. I think having a friend to help me build confidence would be wonderful. If you have any older teens, I'd love to meet them.
