About Mewton
At four weeks’ old, Mewton was found alone on the banks of the Maribyrnong River, sitting next to a bin. The people who found knew bin-life wasn’t for this guy and brought him into a rescue: while tiny and under-nourished, Mewton’s inner personality shone as vibrant as his glossy ginger coat.
Mewton is seeking to be ‘cat-son’ for any lucky singles/couples out there, or even a new member of a family being the fun-lover he is, he is bound to be a wonderful companion for children.
Mewton embraces the zoomies every morning and evening, chasing his toys, his tail, the air … but as soon as his foster mum gets down to work, he snuggles close, always within reach of a pet. He is highly inquisitive so you will have to watch out before closing a cupboard, the fridge, the dishwasher, etc, before closing any doors, lest you find him sitting in a frying pan in a drawer during dinner prep.
Last of all, he is a very loved member within his foster family and due to space they’re unable to keep him, he must go to a forever home, a place where he will feel loved for life.
