About Hubert
Hubert arrived to us a 2 week old orphan and was hand reared and raised in a loving home environment.... Hubert had some complications with osteomyelitis - a bone infection... Hubert's leg has healed well and he is now ready to find a home......
Hubert is a very curious, but cautious individual at first. When he moves into a new space he is quite timid with noises and other animals. Once he warms up, he is a little pocket rocket! He gets very overwhelmed with play time and attention that sometimes he needs to be reminded to be gentle and take things a bit slower. He does have a little crazy streak - he loves to zoom around the house flat stick and because of this, he requires a large space to explore and stretch his legs! He doesn't mind being picked up for short periods but often prefers pats from his back down and around his face but he does love rough.
He enjoys all toys, and things that aren't meant to be toys which is where he gets curious and starts to explore the surrounds. Hubert would appreciate lots of scratching posts and toys he can chew a lot on, that last a while. He also enjoys bells, feather toys, toys on a string (whether playing alone or with his humans).
Hubert will be better suited in a home without young children, a strictly indoor home and one where he can get lots of attention.. Overall Hubert is a big smoocher and although he gives you love bites and can love rough, he can get upset easily by a chance in tone but does know to learn his boundaries. He loves attention at all times of day, even if he ditches you for play. Come meet him at our Longford Adoption Centre
