About Milla
Meet Milla, a sweet and friendly 1-year-old dark red and white short-haired border collie x with a stumpy tail that's just too cute to resist! Despite her tough start in life, she has successfully raised two puppies and is now looking for her forever home.
Milla loves to be around people and will always be by your side, eagerly wanting to please. And when it's time to relax, she loves nothing more than to snuggle up with her human friends. She is house-trained and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She loves her daily walks and is well-behaved on the lead. When off the lead, she doesn't stray far and has good recall, even when kangaroos try to tempt her away. And while she's not interested in birds, she loves chasing butterflies
Milla has been living in foster care with four dogs and a cat and has shown a great interest in playing tug and rough and tumble games with other dogs. She's also been introduced to chickens and showed no signs of chasing them. As for the cat, she couldn't be bothered! Although she hasn't had much training before, she's a fast learner and already knows how to sit on command. She's also calm around food and is learning to wait at gates and doors.
Milla would be a great companion for camping or caravan trips, as she loves to travel in the car. She would be happy with one or two walks a day and a warm, comfortable bed inside the house. And in return, she'll give you her unconditional loyalty and be a fantastic companion. Her full-body wags and wiggles will bring a smile to your face every day!
If you think Milla might be the gal for you, send us an application with some details about the life you can offer her.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
