About Alfie
Meet our adorable “Alfie”
Alfie loves the outdoors and enjoys exploring all environments. He loves to sniff around to find a good chew stick, chew toys, an odd sock, or plastic bottle will also keep him quite entertained too. Another favourite for Alfie is going for rides in the car, he travels really well and enjoys being taken on adventures.
Alfie is a clever boy and has learnt to sit, is doing well with toilet training, can walk on a collar and lead, and is crate trained for night sleeps too. Alfie is food motivated (bit of a piggy really) so training will be a breeze for this boy.
You will get lots of laughs and smiles watching him get around with his growing awkward legs and cheeky antics. He is a wonderful little boy who will become an amazing dog for your family when you provide him with consistency and training.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a secure yard
• Alfie will not be alone for more than 5 hrs
• You will allow Alfie to be part of the family and will allow him to be an indoor dog.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience school you will be enrolling Alfie in.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
