About Dudley
Dudley is looking for his new people to bring out his confidence and show him all the love in the world.
Dudley is a typical young pointer who loves to use his nose, get out and about, play with other dogs, stalk birds and be around his people more often than not. We hope his new family will be around to help him settle into his new home.
We are looking for a gentle and patient family for Dudley who can continue using reward based training to build a solid, positive relationship with him.
Dudley was previously involved in a domestic violence situation and because of this he can get easily intimidated by people who yell or are too 'strict' with him. He really needs his people to be kind, patient and understanding.
Dudley has a lot of energy being a young pointer. He loves playing with other dogs but lacks manners and the ability to stop playing. He would be best suited as an only dog for now while his new family continues to teach him to relax around other dogs through some one-on-one training.
He may also be able to live with a dog older than him who is tolerant but social. His new family will need to put management in place to make sure that the dogs can get to know each other gradually.
If you're interested in Dudley please give us a call to find out more or put in an application today.
