About Eugene
MEET EUGENE!
Eugene is approximately 4 months young, he is part of a litter of 3 all grey kittens, all will be available. We would LOVE to find Eugene a home where he can be adopted as a pair with his twin sister Suzie! (As seen in photos)
Eugene is probably the most PERFECT kitten for any home! He has been handled and loved since he came into care at 3 weeks old. We are looking for the purrfect home that will continue to love and spoil him for the rest of his life. Eugene would love to live with another young cat friend that he can bond with and play with as he is used to living with his sisters, if you have room for 2 then we would LOVE to adopt Eugene alongside his sibling! If you have no other cats, he would require his humans to be home most of the time otherwise he will get quite depressed and lonely being on his own.
Eugene is VERY affectionate and quite needy, so we are looking for a home that will be happy to give him all the attention he needs, he sits by your feet as you cook dinner, get ready for work in the morning, whatever it is you are doing he wants to be involved! He would also love to sleep with you every night and cuddle up to you on the couch/a chair any chance you get. You can carry Eugene around for hours as you go about your day and he would be totally happy.
Eugene also loves to play and his favourite toys are wand toys with feathers on the end! (he likes to think its real prey and will growl at it)
Eugene is an INDOOR ONLY cat for life, he has never been outside (and he doesn't miss it!) so we are looking for an indoor home for him.

Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
